How my journey began
Confidence and resilience is not something I felt I was born with. Although my resilience skills didn't feel innate, I look back and realize I was practicing them all along. I was intrigued by individual practices from all parts of the world.
I studied everything from music, dance, diving, public speaking, podcasting and a long list of other disciplines that brought me to this moment where we now meet here on this page.
My curious mind took me to some extreme places. From understanding the athlete's mindset to questioning practices as extreme as self immolation to something quite the opposite and more temporary: cold immersion. I began to understand how the human mind can work in tandem with the body, so much more deeply than science can currently test for.
Although there is not enough time in one life to explore everything I am curious about, I do recognize the journey is best taken with others walking beside us. Sharing wins and losses is one of the deepest privileges of life.
Why are so many people stressed over common issues? In a word, practice.
People are great at worrying. Individuals feel marginalized at work. When we stress often whether it's real or perceived it makes us sick and unhappy.
How then have I arrived at this deep place of calm and contentment? Putting it bluntly, through decades of suffering and massive trial and error. Through this, I have created skills that are simple, straightforward to learn, and shorten the time to success.
I invite you to join me on the path to inner peace.
